Nestled above native bush, with beautiful sea and mountain views, Bush & Sea Boutique B&B offers you high quality accommodation in a stunning central setting that is relaxing, comfortable and private. Best of all, it is only 5 minutes walk into Kaikoura’s township where you can enjoy our busy café scene.

Stay with well travelled Kiwi hosts who enjoy the outdoors, music, family, friends and looking after our guests! We have only 2 suites, so you will feel truly welcomed.

In a dedicated wing of our home we have our Queen sized Bush Suite, and our Super King (or twin) sized Sea Suite. Both suites overlook our native garden setting, to the mountains, with glimpses of the sea from your own private deck. You are also welcome to use our main deck, with uninterrupted views of the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

Both suites have ground level, private access. They feature tiled bathrooms with under floor heating, tea and coffee (fresh) a silent fridge, TV, DVD/CD player (with a selection of disks) and sound insulated walls for your comfort and privacy. The wonderful comfort of our beds, along with the quietness of the suites is often mentioned by our guests!

Enjoy a delicious cooked and continental breakfast on the main deck whilst drinking in the incredible views of Kaikoura’s sea, bush and mountains.

Suites are priced between NZ$175 – $235 per night, which includes taxes and breakfast.

19/04/12 Here we are at the end of another busy season. We have started lighting the fire most nights now, with chilly evenings upon us. Daylight savings ended a couple of weeks ago and the nights are definitely longer. We are currently rehearsing for a Music Hall variety gig at the end of May for the South Island Rotary conference which has been lots of fun and quite different to what we are used to singing. Our daughter Helena is involved too, and we've found that this style of performing is really teaching us some stuff! We are taking a small break before this to explore the South Island by camper van with the family, I'll have to post some of the pics when we get back.
